Details: The TFT Model 844A FM Modulation Monitor/Analyzer has many built-in features to assure accuracy and reliability. A digital calibration circuit can be accessed to insure 1% accuracy without the need for external Bessel null calibration equipment. A built-in attenuator makes all proof-of-performance measurements easy.
An optional 90 dB SNR measurement is also available for customer who need a higher degree of noise and distortion measurement. Three large-scale meters display "Total", "Left" and "Right" modulation simultaneously. The "Left" or "Test" meter can also be switched to display multipath. Two thumbwheel switches permit A/B comparison or any two stations in the 88-108 MHz FM band.
Peak indicators are driven by TFT's exclusive Peak Modulation Duration Differentiation circuitry to facilitate ease and accuracy when aligning audio processing equipment.
The Model 844A has high level RF, low level (antenna) RF, and composite inputs. Both balanced and unbalanced instrumentation outputs are standard.
