Over the next few months we will be offering some very rare pieces of audio equipment all in outstanding condition a JBL Metregon, McIntosh 275 “G” Limited edition gold amplifiers, plus selected early McIntosh, Marantz, Revox, and Pioneer pieces. For your consideration is a beautiful, fully tested pair of Carver Silver Seven t mono amplifiers. The following introduction message is from Bob Carver in 1989: "The Silver Seven-t creates performance unmatched by any other solid state amplifier. You will hear fully separated stereo with space, depth and ambience. In “real world” terms, this may well be the most powerful solid state amplifier available. Conservatively rated at 575 watts into 8 ohms, it is capable of driving very low impedances, and will deliver a whopping 1000 watts RMS per channel into 2 ohms.” This particular set is in great shape electronically and cosmetically. Our technician has thoroughly cleaned, tested, and adjusted these units. All PCB boards were checked, tightened if necessary, and the pair tested for four hours. There are no cracked or burned PCB's. The meters work as they should – hard to believe so much power can be concentrated in a mono amp that weighs 16 lbs but that’s Bob Carver for you. The units are in such good shape electronically we are able to offer this fine example of classic Carver engineering with a seven (7) day electronics warranty.
